The weimaraner is a special breed for special people. This sporting breed was developed in Germany as an all purpose gundog. They are bred for intelligence and stamina and love to work and play. They seem to have endless energy. They need to be part of the family and included in everything you do.

Activities and More Fun Activities
These pages are an introduction to the wide variety of "competitive dog sports" that you can do with your weimaraner. Weimaraners are very energetic dogs and need a "job" to burn off that energy. The "competitive dog sports" provide an outlet for the dogs enthusiastic energy and helps prevent the destruction that boredom can cause.
